Meet the Team

With over 35 years of experience in construction and restaurant consulting, Kevin has a reputation for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in every project he undertakes.  Throughout his career, he has built more than 45 restaurants and countless custom homes.

Kevin has always had a passion for construction and an innate understanding of the inner workings of a restaurant business.  After high school, Kevin began working at PoFolks restaurant.  Soon after that he took over kitchen management in a local, hometown diner which helped fund his way through tech school for HVAC refrigeration.  In 2004 Hurricane Ivan ravaged the Gulf Coast and Kevin pooled together resources and brought a team of people to Gulf Shores, Alabama to help start rebuilding the homes and lives of those affected.  He quickly fell in love with the community and decided to move to the coast permanently and make it home.  

 In 2007 Kevin began work with Shrimp Basket, where he helped maintain the existing restaurants and began building and designing new ones.  In 2010 he became the Development Director for Shrimp Basket and by 2016 he had built the chain to 32 units before the chain was sold.

Kevin has extensive experience in the construction industry, is a gifted cabinet maker, and is passionate about creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of clients.  Kevin specializes in commercial construction/remodeling and assisting restaurant owners in rebuilding and/or rebranding their current business to achieve success beyond their intended goals.

Dasha began her career in architecture and construction in 2020.  While obtaining her degrees, she began working with Kevin Winfrey and KAW, LLC (now Restaurant Resolutions), involving herself in all aspects of commercial and residential construction.  Dasha is very talented when it comes to CAD work and assists with preliminary CAD design and is closely involved with our architects, engineers, and kitchen equipment design teams during the creation of client projects.  

Dasha is a creative and detail-oriented architectural designer.  Using her Ukrainian heritage, she combines European modernism and contemporary trends to produce architecture and designs that will always have enduring appeal.  She is a forward-thinker, focusing on where architecture and sustainable designs are heading – using technology to promote the most versatile use of energy and materials.  She is passionate about sustainable design practices and collaborative teamwork.  Her expertise lies in integrating innovative design solutions to create impactful spaces.  She is dedicated to designing sustainable and environmentally responsible buildings that are functional and aesthetically pleasing while maintaining project timelines and budget constraints.

Ryan is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry.  He is a seasoned restaurant professional who is extremely talented in assessing current operations and identifying areas for improvement, such as kitchen workflow, inventory management, and supplier relationships.  Ryan boasts 20+ years in the restaurant business specializing in emerging chains throughout the Southeast.  He was the Banquet Captain for the Navy at NAS Pensacola where he oversaw all of the Blue Angels and Officer’s Club events and catering.  Ryan also worked for KESCO as their Outside Sales Agent so he is extremely knowledgeable about kitchen equipment and overall functionality.  Ryan began working for Shrimp Basket in 2010 and quickly moved up in the ranks from Restaurant Manager to Regional Director.

Ryan has extensive knowledge in employee training and has an amazing ability to teach employees to learn and retain knowledge.  He excels in customer service, his knowledge of health department rules and regulations, how to raise/improve health scores, save on labor, save on food cost, and quality control.  Ryan has years of proven experience developing menus that will reflect an owner’s concept, maximize profitability, and minimize waste through strategic pricing and portion control.    It was during his time at Shrimp Basket that he met Kevin Winfrey.  Once the Shrimp Basket sold Ryan decided he wanted to get into the construction side of things as he had studied construction work for years.  As part of our restaurant consulting team Ryan’s knowledge and expertise in unmatched and invaluable.

Dave brings 30+ years of experience to our residential and commercial construction team.  His impressive resume includes working with and under the direction of Michael Cronin (Acoustic Construction) in Nashville, TN.  There he learned to build recording studios which taught him the design of acoustics and how to quieten bars and restaurants (sound control).  Dave also has extensive experience with restaurant remodels, new construction, and creating home theatres.  Dave is a skilled carpenter dedicated to crafting high-quality work for both residential and commercial projects.  

After Hurricane Ivan in 2004, Dave began working with Kevin Winfrey to rebuild the Gulf Coast, then followed him to Shrimp Basket.  They continue to work together, consistently delivering projects that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.  

Derrick is a lifelong resident of Baldwin County with over 13 years of experience in the construction industry. Specializing in framing work, metal roofing, and marine construction, he brings a wealth of expertise and hands-on knowledge to every project. His deep understanding of building codes and safety regulations ensures that each job is completed with precision and compliance.

Derrick’s framing work is impeccable, reflecting his keen attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. His ability to collaborate seamlessly with other team members allows projects to be completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Whether working on a residential home, a commercial structure, or a marine construction project, Derrick’s dedication to quality and teamwork makes him an invaluable asset to any job site.
